A hybrid inverter manages solar generation, the grid and a battery bank in one system. With a suitable battery and wiring design, selected circuits can keep running when the grid is down.

What can be backed up — and for how long — depends on the inverter rating, battery capacity and which loads are connected to the backed-up circuit. We design this with you rather than promising whole-house backup by default.
