About Luxpower
Luxpower (LuxpowerTek) is a Shenzhen-based inverter maker, founded in 2017. It is best known for its LXP series of hybrid inverters and its SNA series of off-grid inverters.
Its inverters work on-grid, off-grid or as hybrids, can be connected in parallel to build bigger systems, and report to an app and web portal so you can follow your system from your phone.
What a inverter does
Panels make direct current (DC) power, but your appliances run on alternating current (AC). The inverter does that conversion, and watches the system so it runs safely and efficiently.
A grid-tied (string) inverter works with the grid. A hybrid inverter adds a battery: it charges the battery from the panels, uses that stored power when the sun is down, and can keep key circuits running during an outage. An off-grid inverter runs a system that has no grid connection at all.
