Seraphim solar panels
Jiangsu-based manufacturer that makes its own solar cells and modules.
About Seraphim
Seraphim is a solar module manufacturer based in Jiangsu, China. It makes its own solar cells as well as finished panels, rather than buying cells from someone else.
Its range uses crystalline silicon cells, including shingled-cell designs, with different product series for different kinds of projects. Which series suits you depends on your roof and your goals, and we confirm the exact model in your written proposal.
What a solar panel does
A solar panel is made of solar cells that produce direct current (DC) electricity when sunlight hits them. The inverter then converts that power for your home or business.
Panels are rated in watts. A system is built from enough panels to cover the electricity you want to produce, as far as your roof or land allows. Panels lose a little output slowly over the years, which is why the long-term performance rating on a datasheet matters.
What we look at when choosing
- How much usable roof space you have, and which way it faces
- Shading from trees, buildings or roof structures during the day
- How much of your electricity use you want the panels to cover
- The panel's size and weight, and that your roof can carry and mount it safely
Final brands, models and specifications are confirmed in your written proposal, based on your site and needs.
