Dyness batteries

Lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) home batteries, stackable so storage can grow with your needs.

About Dyness

Dyness (Dyness Digital Energy Technology Co., Ltd.) makes lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries for home and small commercial energy storage. This chemistry is widely used in home batteries for its long cycle life and good safety record.

Its home batteries come as modules that can be combined, so a system can start small and grow. The Dyness batteries we offer are its Powerwall models (about 5 kWh indoor and about 10 kWh outdoor) and its PowerBrick models (16 kWh, indoor and outdoor).

What a battery does

A battery stores electricity made by your panels, or taken from the grid, and gives it back when you need it: in the evening, at night, or when the power is out. It is used together with a hybrid inverter.

Two numbers matter. Capacity, in kilowatt-hours (kWh), is how much energy it can store. Power, in kilowatts (kW), is how much it can supply at once. A bigger battery lasts longer; a higher power rating runs more appliances at the same time.

What we look at when choosing

  • How long you want to run on battery, and which appliances you want to keep on
  • Capacity (kWh) against power (kW), which are not the same thing
  • Whether you can start small and add more batteries later
  • That it is compatible with your inverter, which we confirm before recommending a combination
  • Where it will be installed: it needs a suitable, ventilated spot

Final brands, models and specifications are confirmed in your written proposal, based on your site and needs.
